Thai AirAsia Launches Flights to Luang
Prabang, Laos
Thai AirAsia has launched flights between Don
Mueang in Bangkok and Luang Prabang, Laos.
The inaugural flight FD 1030 had a load factor
of 98%.

Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia, said, “Luang Prabang has many
distinct travel features, from its local lifestyle and culture to
its natural attractions. This latest route also creates new
investment opportunities. We are confident that as a friendly
destination, Luang Prabang will quickly grow to be a popular place
to visit for both Thai and international travellers.”
To celebrate the launch of flights to
Laos, Thai AirAsia is offering special fares of 1,590 THB per way
from Don Mueang to Luang Prabang until 27 March 2016 for travel
before 30 September 2016.

Conference at ATF 2016 - HD
At the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2016 in Manila,
Philippines in January, Mr. Sounh Manivong, Director General - Tourism
Development Department of the Ministry of Information, Culture and
Tourism, gave a press conference to update media on the tourism
