Bangkok Airways has entered into codeshare
agreement with Austrian Airlines.
As a result of the deal, new
destinations in Thailand and Cambodia can be directly booked via
Austrian Airlines, and reached from Vienna via flights to Bangkok.
In addition to the well-known vacation destinations of Phuket,
Krabi and Ko Samui in the south of Thailand, passengers can fly to
Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand and Trat
located in the Gulf of Thailand.
In Cambodia, the codeshare
agreement with Bangkok Airways includes the destinations of Phnom
Penh and Siem Reap.
Bangkok Airways’ President, Mr. Puttipong Prasartthong-Osoth,
said, “This new codeshare agreement
with Austrian Airlines is yet another important milestone and an
exciting development in the continued growth of Bangkok Airways.
It allows us to give customers of Austrian Airlines convenient and
seamless access to Thailand and Cambodia’s popular destinations
through this partnership.”
Austrian Airlines currently operates daily
nonstop flights to Bangkok.
