Saminder Kaur Joins Settlement Hotel Melaka as Head of Sales

The Settlement Hotel Melaka has appointed Saminder Kaur as Head of Sales.

Sam has more than 37 years of experience in the industry, having worked in various senior positions with reputable 5-star hotels in Malaysia such as The Melia, Kuala Lumpur, The Regency, Gouman and The Avillion Village Resort.

Her last position was that of Director of Sales with The Avillion Village Resort, Port Dickson.

The 49-room Settlement Hotel Melaka is located along the colorful Jalan Ujong Pasir in the culturally rich city of Melaka in Malaysia, an UNESCO heritage city.

Alongside works of art, distinctive bespoke furniture pieces such as a 350-year prized Sultan Bed at the hotel’s front porch to century old tiles from a Palembang mosque in Sumatra, make this hotel a unique stay.

Other facilities available at the hotel include a private car park area, dipping pool, spa and distinctive F&B outlets such as The Long Bar featuring a unique one-of-its- kind 27-foot long wooden table, said to be the longest table in Malaysia carved from a single tree trunk, The Rooftop Garden, The Dining Room as well as a host of meeting facilities.
