Ascott has signed a contract to manage its first
mixed-use development in Thailand.
The Somerset
Ekamai Bangkok comprises three buildings housing the 130
units of studio to two-bedroom serviced residences, 81 units of
one to three-bedroom apartments for corporate lease and a multifunction conference centre with 51 dorm-style single-bedroom
units set in a co-working environment.
Somerset Ekamai Bangkok
is surrounded by several office buildings, an international
school, shopping malls and plenty of upscale bars, restaurants and
cafes. The property will offer convenient
access to the Ekamai BTS station.
Facilities will
include an outdoor swimming pool, gymnasium, gardens,
restaurants, children’s playroom and residents’ lounge.
The corporate lease and conference centre are
slated to open in July 2016 while the serviced residence will be
ready to welcome residents the following month.
With Somerset Ekamai Bangkok, Ascott has more than 3,100 apartment
units in 17 properties across three major cities - Bangkok, Sri
