Kenya Airways is to launch thrice weekly flights
between Nairobi and Cape Town, South Africa in July
2016.
Cape Town will be Kenya Airways’ second city in South Africa after
Johannesburg and will be linked to Livingstone in Zambia, the
gateway to Victoria Falls.
The Kenya Airways flight will depart
Nairobi at 07:20 to arrive in Livingstone at 09:30, departing
Livingstone 10:20 to land in Cape Town at 13:25.
The return flight
will take off from Cape Town International Airport at 14:15 to
arrive in Livingstone at 17:10, departing Livingstone at 18:00 to
touchdown in Nairobi 22:00.
Flights will operate on Wednesdays,
Fridays and Sundays.
The route will be operated by Embraer E190
aircraft with 12 business class seats and 84 economy class
seats.
Kenya Airways’ Group Managing Director and Chief
Executive Officer Mbuvi Ngunze said, “We are excited to add a new
destination to our network. We continue to connect Africa to the
world and the world to Africa. Cape Town via Livingstone will
offer our guests two holiday destination on one route.”
