Sanya Marriott Hotel Dadonghai Bay Opens New 160-Room Wing

The Sanya Marriott Hotel Dadonghai Bay has completed construction on its final phase East Wing, an expansive building that encompasses 160 new rooms and suites, a giant glass lobby replete with waterfalls and gardens, new restaurants, wellness and meeting facilities and more.

Designed by HBA, the 160 new guest rooms and suites feature floor to ceiling windows and large private balconies, air conditioning, a writing desk, cable and satellite TV and a large bathroom with separate bathtub and shower with THANN natural body care amenities.

Expansive and cavernous, the new glass lobby is a 6,000 square meter split-level structure that features waterfalls, small gardens and various zones that each have distinctive ambience and energy level.

On the ground level is The China Baking Company, a modern incarnation of the traditional Hong Kong bakery with glass-encased kitchen serving up freshly baked Cantonese delicacies, and Yogurt Inc., a colorful shop that offers healthy frozen yogurts with a range of delectable toppings.

The new lobby also encompasses a bar serving coffee and pastries in the day and alcoholic beverages and snacks in the evening, a tea lounge offering an authentic local tea experience, 'community tables' with high chairs for social and business gatherings and an outdoor terrace with ocean views.

F&B openings in the new East Wing also include Man Ho, a Chinese restaurant specializing in the cuisines of Hong Kong and Shandong province and boasting an extensive international wine list and uniquely themed private dining rooms, and Smoki Moto, a unique venue with a Japanese sushi bar, Korean BBQ and two private dining rooms with Teppanyaki stations.

The East Wing also has a new Executive Lounge where guests can gather throughout day and evening in an open living room or beside a large communal table to meet, eat, work and relax.

In addition to a glass wedding chapel by the sea, the new East Wing also adds an 1,000 square meter lawn for outdoor celebrations, a new second bridal room and a 188 square meter multi-function room. The hotel also boasts a 916 square meter pillarless Grand Ballroom that can be partitioned into four smaller spaces, a large foyer for receptions and numerous smaller meeting rooms.

The 700 square meter Kid's Club at Sanya Marriott Hotel Dadonghai Bay has been made even more gigantic with the addition of an outdoor area in 200 square meters where little ones can play on rings, swings, slides and a special children's rock climbing installation.

There's also a brand new Quan Spa, a new 24-hour Health Club with state-of-the-art exercise machines and views of the Dadonghai Bay, and new snooker and table tennis rooms.
