Four Seasons has confirmed that it will open its
first hotel in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, on 1 May 2016.
The 200-room Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island is
located in the heart of the Central Business District on a prime
stretch of waterfront adjacent to the new ADGM Square complex,
home of the new Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
The building will also house 124 private
and serviced residences.
“The first impression our guests will have is of
this stunning new hotel and all the services and amenities we
offer at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi,” said General Manager, Sam
Ioannidis. “But the lasting impression will be of the unique
experience of staying with us at Four Seasons. Our mission is to
provide a thoughtful, personalised experience to each of our
guests, whether it’s a productive business trip or a day spent
rejuvenating at our spa, a fun-filled family holiday or an
enjoyable meal with friends.”
A 5.4 kilometre (3.4 mile) waterfront promenade circles the 114-hectare
(282-acre) Al Maryah community, which is connected to other
islands and the mainland via a series of bridges. It’s just 5
minutes from the city centre and 30 minutes from Abu Dhabi
International Airport (AUH), with Dubai International Airport
(DXB) 95 minutes away by car.
