Oakwood is set to expand its portfolio within
Asia Pacific when the Oakwood Apartments Ho Chi Minh opens in Q4
2016.
Oakwood Apartments Ho Chi Minh will offer 68 units ranging
from studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments with facilities such
as a gym and a residents’ lounge, as well as a restaurant.
Inspiration for the property’s interior is drawn from Saigonese
architecture from the 1950s to 1970s, reflecting the vibrant
history of Cu Xa Do Thanh.
The property is
situated in District 3 with shops, museums, local coffee shops and
eateries dotting the area.
“This is an exciting year for Oakwood Asia
Pacific as we celebrate key milestones such as the opening of our
10th property in Tokyo this August; as well as our expansion into
new regions such as Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam,”
said
Dean Schreiber, managing director of Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd.
“Vietnam’s economy has been growing steadily with strong foreign
direct investments. Oakwood Asia Pacific’s core business is in
providing serviced apartments for business travelers; and this is
a timely opportunity for us to debut in Vietnam coupled with the
country’s advancing integration into both regional and global
economies.”
