Thai AirAsia X to Launch Tehran and Muscat
Flights
[HD video below] Thai AirAsia X is to expand its network with the
launch of two new routes.
The low cost, long-haul Bangkok-based
airline will launch non-stop thrice weekly flights on Mondays,
Wednesdays and Fridays to Tehran (IKA), Iran on 22 June 2016, and
thrice weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to
Muscat (MCT), Oman on 28 June 2016.
Thai AirAsia X will operate the Tehran and
Muscat flights with Airbus A330-300s, offering 12 Premium Flat Bed
business class seats and 365 economy class seats on each aircraft.
And to celebrate the network expansion,
promotional farex starting from 2,990 THB for economy class
seats and 9,990 THB for Premium Flat Bed business class seats can
be booked until 29 May 2016 for travel from 22 June 2016 to 22 May 2017
(for Tehran) and 28 June 2016 to 31 December 2016 (for Muscat).

Tehran and Muscat will be the 5th and 6th destinations of
Thai AirAsia X respectively after Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka and Shanghai.
In cooperation with Thai AirAsia, passengers can use
the Fly
Thru service to reach both cities from Phuket, Krabi, Hat Yai,
Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Khon Kaen and Surat Thani easily via Don
Mueang Airport after a single check-in and with baggage checked through to the final destination.
Travelers from Iran and Oman
meanwhile, can use Fly Thru to reach across Thailand and to destinations that include Singapore, Yangon, Siem Reap, Ho Chi
Minh, Chongqing, Macau and Tokyo.
