Carlson Signs Radisson Hotel in Suzhou, China

Carlson Rezidor has signed a management agreement for a Radisson hotel in Suzhou, China with Suzhou Zheng He Investment Co., Ltd.

The Radisson Suzhou, which will form part of a mixed-use development, is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The 155-key Radisson Suzhou is located in the Suzhou Science and Technology Town, also known as Suzhou New District. The district promotes sustained growth for new emerging industry clusters including high-technology innovation and new energy.

The hotel is served by two airports, namely Wuxi Shuofang Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, a 30-minute and 90-minute drive away, respectively.

Catering to a demanding MICE segment, the hotel’s meetings facilities will include four versatile function rooms indigenously designed to accommodate both private and corporate events.

Other hotel highlights include two restaurants, a fitness center and parking.
