Dorsett Hotel Opens in Putrajaya, Malaysia

The Dorsett Putrajaya soft opened today (16 January 2016).

The 218-room midscale hotel is located in the heart of Malaysia’s federal administrative capital in Precinct 3; within walking distance to key Malaysian government offices such as Perbadanan Putrajaya, National Registration Department, Customs Department, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Entrepreneurship and the Federal Court of Malaysia to name a few.

For leisure travellers, the hotel is close to several places of interest: Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, Perdana Putra, Putrajaya Maritime Centre, Putrajaya Lake Club, Taman Pancarona, Taman Seri Empangan and adjacent to the soon-to-open Palladium Mall offering a host of retailing and dining options.

The all-day restaurant of the hotel - The View overlooks the scenic Putrajaya Lake. The view enhances the gourmet experience created by specialty chef, Shamsul Rizal. The Dorsett Cafe, on the other hand, is a casual deli with ready-to-go snacks and beverages, while the rooftop Atrium Bar overlooks the Putrajaya city skyline.

For midscale meeting and conferences as well as special occasions or even social events, the hotel features a pillar-less ballroom with a capacity of up to three hundred people and five meeting rooms of various sizes. The ballroom can be divided into two, while the five meeting rooms can be combined as one large meeting venue.

The Dorsett Putrajaya also features a rooftop infinity pool, gymnasium and a spa. 

The hotel is a 10-minute drive away from Putrajaya ERL Station and a 30-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
