Marriott has expanded its portfolio of hotels in
Thailand with the opening of the Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang
Beach.
With more than 2.3 billion Thai Baht invested,
the 180-room resort was completely refurbished from the Adamas
Hotel to bring it in line with Marriott standards.
Located on Nai Yang beach, the Phuket Marriott
Resort and Spa is surrounded with tropical vegetation and lush green
forest within the Sirinath National Park.
The property is just a 10-minute
drive from Phuket International Airport and adjacent to the old
town of Nai Yang along with numerous natural attractions and
scenic hot spots.
“Phuket welcomes approximately 12 million
visitors per year, mostly tourists from European and Asian
countries. Phuket is one of the largest contributors to Thailand’s
tourism industry, bringing around 200 billion Baht to the country
each year. The opening of Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang
Beach, will address the needs of both local and international
travelers,” said Mr. David Ippersiel, General Manager of the
Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach.
Guest rooms are designed in two styles;
traditional-Thai with relaxing earth tones, or a more
sleek-contemporary décor with modern and innovative touches. The luxury Pool Villas
are located directly on the beachfront.
A choice of several restaurants and bars is available at
the Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, offering both Thai and
international cuisine with personalized service and talented local
chefs.
The Andaman Kitchen, an all-day dining restaurant, features
a wide array of dishes whereas the beachfront Big Fish Restaurant
& Bar serves fresh seafood and offers a wide range of enticing
beverages, from local signature drinks to international renowned
cocktails. Guests can also choose to enjoy afternoon tea in the
spacious open-air lobby lounge.
The Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach
also features a large lagoon-inspired swimming pool, a
fully equipped 24-hour fitness center, meeting spaces, a Quan Spa
and beachside pirate-themed Kid’s Club.
