Thai Vietjet Takes Delivery of Third Airbus
A320 Aircraft
[HD video below] Thai Vietjet has taken delivery of its third new
Airbus A320
aircraft.
Thai Vietjet's three A320s, which carry the registration codes: HS-VKA, HS-VKB and HS-VKC,
have been given a name of flower which corresponds with the last
letter of their respective registration code: Amaryllis, Begonia
and Camellia.
Thai Vietjet will launch its maiden
Bangkok-Phuket and Phuket-Chiang Rai flights
tomorrow (15 September) and Bangkok-Chiang Mai on 26 September
2016.
Ms Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh, Vice President of Vietjet, said,
“Our commitment in developing tourism in Thailand has become a greater reality than ever today with this third aircraft joining
our growing fleet. Our aircraft now are in good shape to further
meet increasing travel demand of Thai people and international
tourists in the Land of Smiles. We are proud to operate a new,
