In this exclusive HD video interview, filmed in
the hotel's popular
Explorer Suite by Jim Thompson on 8 April 2015, we ask the
new General Manager - Ms. Titiya Chooto, about the change.
We ask how the Anantara brand compares to Four
Seasons, how the other Anantara hotels in Bangkok compare to the
Anantara Siam, and whether any markets have been affected by the
rebranding.
You will learn how the name Anantara Siam Hotel
came about, and whether Khun Titiya believes it could be
misleading for some customers who might think the hotel is in Siam
Square.
The hotel has some of the top F&B outlets in the
city and we ask whether the Executive Chef and Director of F&B
have changed, and what impact the rebranding has had on the
different outlets.
We talk about the planned renovation project and
you will learn when it will begin, how many rooms will be involved
in the first phase, whether rooms will be added or taken away,
whether it will be a soft refurbishment or something much more
comprehensive, and when it is scheduled to be completed.
We also discuss what the rooms and bathrooms
will look like, what new technology the rooms will get, and much,
much more.
Titiya Chooto
Ms. Titiya Chooto is no stranger to the hotel,
nor the hotel industry as a whole. In fact, she is one of the most
successful female hotel General Managers in the world. Ms. Titiya
was previously General Manager of the
Four Seasons Hotel Chiang Mai as well as the Four Seasons Tented
Camp Golden Triangle - one of the very few women in the world to
hold the position of General Manager of two Four Seasons Hotels
simultaneously. Khun Titiya was also the very first Asian female
General Manager at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
