Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore Re-Opens Following Sin$45 Million Makeover

Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore has re-opened following an extensive Sin$45 million makeover to transition from Traders Hotel Singapore.

The 565 rooms at the hotel have been split into four contemporary locally curated wallpaper designs highlighting a Singapore theme (bicycle, orchid, goldfish and shop house).

Each room features free WiFi, USB charger outlets, high pressure walk-in showers, and king-sized “floating” beds with 300-thread count linen.

Executive suites also include a pull-out sofa bed, a small pantry, a microwave and a SMEG fridge.

The 18-floor hotel also boasts a Club Lounge located on the 17th floor with open views of the nearby residential neighbourhood.

Clifford Weiner, General Manager of Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore, said, “I love the energy at the new hotel. Our hotel offers a lot of value for travellers who appreciate the ingenious details, stylish and comfy rooms, enthusiastic and upbeat staff, convenience and accessibility, all delivered fuss free. We hope to give guests an authentic Singapore experience and deliver it with an inspired zest!”

Authentic South-East Asian cuisine will be showcased in J65, a new restaurant with a local farmer’s market look and feel.

The lobby also houses Jen’s Kitchen On-the-Go – a café and snack bar offering Singapore’s finest artisan products including locally roasted coffee and many open lounging areas.

A unique feature of Hotel Jen Tanglin is the Heart Map. Staff and guests alike are encouraged to share their favourite tips and recommendations on the hand-drawn map - fun and interactive way to discover the city.

Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore joins 9 other Hotel Jen properties under Shangri-La International Hotel Management across Asia.
