Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of its 31st
brand new Airbus A320, the second of four Airbus A320 aircraft
that the airline is set to receive this year.
With this delivery, Cebu Pacific now operates a
fleet of 54 aircraft comprising 10 Airbus A319, 31 Airbus A320, 5
Airbus A330 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft.
Cebu Pacific's aircraft fleet's average age is
4.34 years, one of the youngest in the world.
Between 2015 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take
delivery of 7 more brand-new Airbus A320, 30 Airbus A321neo, and 1
Airbus A330 aircraft.
"For the next 6 years, we have orders for 35
more Airbus aircraft. We continue to invest heavily in new planes
to expand existing services and open new routes here and abroad,"
said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific Vice President for Marketing and
Distribution.
