Jan-Paul Kroese has been appointed as General
Manager of Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, a luxury
hotel-restaurant in the village of Great Milton near Oxford in
England.
Originally hailing from the Netherlands, Mr
Kroese is a seasoned hotelier with over 18 years of experience in
the hospitality industry.
He joins Belmond on 14 December 2015 from
Château St. Gerlach, a Camille Oostwegel Château Hotels &
Restaurants property he has managed since March 2011.
Prior to that, Kroese oversaw the
pre-opening of Sankara Nairobi in Kenya and held roles at leading
luxury hotel brands including InterContinental and Mandarin
Oriental.

Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons received two
Michelin stars in 1984, the first year of its opening and has held
them ever since, recently retaining both stars for the 32nd
consecutive year in 2016.
It was recently named ‘Best UK Hotel’ for
the third year in a row at the prestigious Times and Sunday Times
Travel Awards 2015; and recognised as one of the ‘Top 20 Hotels in
the UK’ at the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Travel Awards 2015.
