IHG Opens Holiday Inn Express Snowmass Village

InterContinental Hotels Group has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Colorado with the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Snowmass Village hotel.

The four-floor hotel, offering 145 guest rooms and six suites, is situated at the base of Snowmass Mountain, just  a two-minute walk from the hotel to ski lift access.

Due to its location, this hotel will most likely appeal to avid skiers and snowboarders in the winter as well as hikers and mountain bikers in the warmer months of the year.

All guest rooms offer comfortable queen, king-sized or two double beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair and an in-room coffee machine featuring complimentary Smart Roast 100% Arabica coffee, an iPod docking station, large under-bed trundle drawers, cubbies for ski gear and a place to hang skis.

The hotel also features a heated outdoor pool, two hot tubs, a 24-hour fitness center and more than 1,100 square feet of meeting space.

The complimentary Express Start breakfast bar offers a full range of breakfast items, and now features healthy breakfast items, including Chobani yogurt, whole wheat English muffins, Special K cereal with red berries, new oatmeal flavors in cups and a toppings bar - for yogurt, cereal and pancakes. Additionally, the breakfast bar continues to offer a rotation of egg and meat selections, biscuits, fruit, the brand's proprietary cinnamon roll and Smart Roast coffee.

The Holiday Inn Express Snowmass Village hotel, located at 40 Elbert Lane in Snowmass Village, is managed by HEI Hotels & Resorts and is franchised by an affiliate of IHG.
