Trisara Academy, a training facility in Phuket
operated by Montara Hospitality Group, is launching an internship
program thats open to the public.
The 3-month internship program,
which will begin on 2 March 2015, consists of 2 separate courses,
one in Food & Beverage Operations and another in Culinary
Preparation.
Khun Narong Pattamasaevi, Owner and
Chairman of Montara Hospitality Group, said, As a locally owned and operated hotel
group, we understand that there is a growing need for skilled
employees in hotels and resorts across Thailand. We believe that
the Academys intensive 520-hour course will provide students with
the training and knowledge that they need to succeed in Thailands
hospitality sector.
The certificate course
in Culinary Preparation will be led by Trisaras veteran Executive
Chef Chalermchai Prakobkit, who has fortified his own skills in
many Michelin star kitchens worldwide, including El Celler de Can
Roca, #1 The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2013.
The course will lay
the foundation for students culinary skills and knowledge,
preparing them for an entry level position in the kitchen. The
course in Food & Beverage Operations, led by Thai Trisara
managers, will equip students with the essential skills needed for
entry-level employment in the food and beverage industry as
service staff.
Importantly, upon completion of the courses,
all students will receive valuable assistance in job placement
with resume writing and even arranged interviews with local hotels
in Phuket.
After completing an internship programme, we hope
that our students will be fully prepared to begin rewarding
careers in Thailands ever growing hospitality industry, said Khun
Patteera Maneesri, Group Director of Human Resources and Trisara
Academy Director.
Each Internship Program is 5 days per week
for a duration of 3 months at the cost of THB 12,800 per month
(Total THB 38,400) inclusive of uniforms, daily meals, and course
materials.
Applicants must be between 18 to 28 years old and
be a
Thai national.
Applications must be
made in writing,
accompanied by a recent photograph. The applicant must have at
least a high school degree and have an average level of verbal
English language skills(English training will be
provided in each course). Applications must be made by 20 February 2015.
