Hard Rock International has appointed Daniel
Cheng as Senior Vice President of Business Development, Asia
Pacific.
Cheng's appointment is a strategic move designed
to accelerate momentum behind the brand's global gaming growth
plans.
Cheng will be responsible for identifying the
appropriate casino investment and development partners within key
countries, such as Japan, Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines.
"Cheng's experience and strengths complement our
company's development needs and we're looking forward to further
growing the brand's Asian footprint under his guidance," said
Hamish Dodds, chief executive officer of Hard Rock International.
With nearly three decades of multiple
industry experiences, Cheng's past gaming experience includes
development roles with Bally Gaming Systems, consulting with the
Government of Singapore and most recently, Resorts World Inc. –
the international resort development, internet gaming and brand
licensing business entity of the Genting Group.
Cheng will be
based out of Singapore.
