Jean-Yves Blatt has been appointed as General
Manager of the 101-room Chedi Andermatt hotel.
Since 2005, Blatt has worked at the Grand Park
Hotel in Gstaad, for the past six years as general manager.
Previously, he worked at the Lausanne Palace Spa and Hotel Le
Mirador (now Le Mirador Kempinski) in Mont-Pèlerin.
A 50-year-old native of Switzerland Blatt is a a
graduate of the famed Lausanne Hotel School in Switzerland.
“Guests of The Chedi Andermatt are looking for
the consummate Swiss experience, across every conceivable avenue
of their stay, from cuisine to management,” said GHM President
Hans R. Jenni. “And in Jean-Yves, after an exhaustive search among
managers with a very specific skill-set and very compelling
experience, we found exactly the leadership we’d hoped to find.”

Andermatt nestles among the ski chalets of Andermatt, a village of
timeless charms in the Urseren Valley of Switzerland. A two-hour
train ride from Zurich, GHM’s first European property features 101
guest rooms and suites. Extensive facilities include restaurants
and cosy lounges, a ski-in living room with sports boutique,
