Raffles Beijing has appointed Janet M Chan as
Director of Sales and Marketing, and Erin Proud as Director of
Food & Beverage overseeing the hotels three signature dining
venues.
Janet has been working in the hospitality industry for
over 10 years. From Australia, Janet really grew into the industry
with Small Luxury Hotels of the World before moving on to
Preferred Hotel Group and then in-house in two properties in
Cambodia.
Prior to joining Raffles Beijing Hotel, Janet was
Director of Sales and Marketing at VOMO Island Resort in Fiji.
This is Janets second role with Raffles following her work
with Raffles Grand Hotel dAngkor and her first role in China.

Food and Beverage Erin Proud is working in Beijing for the
first time following five hugely successful years at the reopened
The Savoy London, a key member of the FRHI Hotels & Resorts
family.
Having worked in events and winning the hotels Leader of
the Year in 2011, Erin then took on the role of Assistant Director
of Food and Beverage overseeing eight outlets and departments.
Also from Australia, Erin spent time working in Surfers Paradise
in Queensland at various hotels and resorts before heading to
London.
Now with Raffles Beijing Hotel, Erin will lead the
teams from modern French restaurant Jaan, global restaurant East
33, the iconic Writers Bar, catering teams and in-room dining.
It is exciting to have both Janet and Erin join the Raffles
Beijing Hotel team, said Raffles Beijing Hotel General Manager,
Christian Sack. Their energy and global experience are ideal for
the hotel as we continue to deliver an exciting experience for our
guests in the heart of Beijing.
