Sabre Appoints Zul Sidi as VP Enterprise Data and Analytics

Sabre has appointed Zul Sidi as Vice President of Enterprise Data and Analytics, a strategic area within the company’s Product and Technology organization.

Sidi joins Sabre from Rogers Communications, Inc., Canada’s largest provider of wireless and data communication services. During his tenure at Rogers Communications, he served as vice president of data management and technology, responsible for establishing the company’s data strategy and roadmap.

Sidi also led the general analytics professional services organization for SAS Institute, a leader in business analytics software and services.

“Zul’s extensive experience in enterprise data management and development will prompt the way we access, interact with and consume massive amounts of travel data to enhance our user experience, personalization and mobile capabilities,” said Deborah Kerr, Sabre’s Chief Product and Technology Officer. “His strong track record of developing business analytics products and services will further strengthen Sabre’s analytics expertise in transforming shopping and booking data into real-time insights and innovative solutions for our customers.”

Data and analytics are expected to bring accelerated growth opportunities and differentiation in virtually every industry across the world. For Sabre, these data insights will help create more personalized, mobile solutions that connect traveler behavior and action, leveraging visualization capabilities and platforms that collect data across multiple sources such as airlines, hotels, agencies, etc.

Sidi received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Rutgers University in New Jersey, and an Executive MBA from Duke University.
