V Air is to launch direct scheduled flights
between Taipei and Macau on 10 April 2015.
Starting initially with 3 round-trip flights per
week, the schedule is expected to be increased to a daily service
in early June after an Airbus
A320 aircraft joins the fleet.
V Air currently owns one A321
aircraft and aims to grow its fleet to a minimum of five aircraft by the
end of 2015.
The initial schedule for Taipei-
Macau route will offer round-trip flights every Monday, Wednesday, and
Friday.
Flight ZV155 is scheduled to depart from Taipei at 20:10
and arrive at Macau at 21:55.
Between Macau and Taipei, ZV156
will depart at 22:55 and arrive at Taipei Taoyuan International
Airport at 00:45 the following morning.
To celebrate the new service, an
introductory fare is being offered from TWD 888/HK$ 222
(one way, airport tax excluded). The sale begins at 08:00 on 1
April and ends 3 April (Taipei time, GMT+8). The special fares are valid
for travel between 10 April and 13 May (subject to final
government approval). Over 3,800 tickets will be available at the
