Hilton Worldwide has made the following four
appointments to its Asia Pacific leadership team:
- Ben George - Senior Vice President Sales and
Revenue Management - Asia Pacific;
- Michael Slaton - Vice
President Finance - Asia Pacific;
- Rupert Hallam - Vice
President Sales - Asia Pacific;
and - Stephen Russell - Vice
President Operational Effectiveness - Asia Pacific.
Ben George is a member of the Asia Pacific
Executive Committee. Ben's new role reflects the integration of
the leadership of sales and revenue management in Asia Pacific as
part of global alignment of the two key functions to drive greater
synergy. Ben was most recently vice president, revenue management,
Asia Pacific, Hilton Worldwide.
Michael Slaton joins the Asia Pacific leadership
team from the United States, where he was most recently vice
president, finance, global brands and commercial services (GBCS),
Hilton Worldwide. In his new role as Vice President Finance
- Asia Pacific, Michael is responsible for all finance and
accounting operations and for ensuring financial compliance
throughout the region. He also provides strategic input on
business improvement projects and talent development initiatives,
as well as supports the execution of key strategic priorities
across the region. Michael is a member of the inaugural class of
Hilton's global VP Excellence Leadership Development Program.
Rupert Hallam is now in charge of spearheading
all sales initiatives, as well as building the capability of sales
teams across the region. He was previously the regional director
of sales, South East Asia, Hilton Worldwide.
Stephen Russell has been promoted to vice
president, operational effectiveness, Asia Pacific, Hilton
Worldwide, effective 1 October 2015. He is responsible for leading
the region's hotel teams in optimizing operational synergies and
driving efficiencies. He was previously senior director, finance,
pre-opening and growth delivery, Asia Pacific, Hilton Worldwide.
