Hong Kong Airlines will launch flights between
Hong Kong and Kumamoto, Japan on 14 December 2015.
Flights will operate every Monday and Friday.
Mr. Sun Jianfeng, Vice President of Hong Kong
Airlines, said, “With more and more Hong Kong travellers visiting
Japan, subsequent to the introduction of the first and only direct
service to Kumamoto and our existing scheduled flight service to
Kagoshima and Miyazaki, a strong connection would be formed among
Hong Kong, Kagoshima, Miyazaki and Kumamoto. Passengers can now
choose to arrive and depart freely within these three major cities
in Kyushu. We believe greater synergy will be achieved to
effectively improve passenger flow in Hong Kong and Kyushu,
offering more diverse options for both business and leisure
travel.”
Hong Kong Airlines’ network currently covers
almost 30 cities across the Asia Pacific region, including
Beijing, Shanghai, Sanya, Taipei, Sapporo, Bangkok, Bali and
Okinawa.
Hong Kong Airlines’ fleet consists of 25
aircraft with an average age of around 3 years. It includes three
Airbus A330-300s, nine Airbus A330-200s, eight A320s of passenger
flights and five Airbus A330-200Fs.
