Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa Sponsors Canberra Cavalry

Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa has signed a sponsorship deal to support the Canberra Cavalry for the upcoming season of the Australian Baseball League.

“We are proud to support the Canberra Cavalry as they embark on the new national baseball season and look forward to cheering the team on to a winning season,” said Anthony Cleary, General Manager of Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa. “The home of the Canberra Calvary, Narrabundah Ballpark, or ‘The Fort’ as it is known is one of the most difficult venues for opposing teams in the league.”

He said the fan base for baseball in Australia was growing each year and that there is mass grassroots fan support for the team in Canberra and that the home games had significant potential to increase tourism to the region.

“We are hoping that interstate fans decide to stay on for a couple of days after the baseball game and discover the beauty in and around Canberra as well as take the easy drive out to the Snowy Mountains and spend some time with us at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa,” said Mr Cleary.
