Sabre Travel Network has appointed Fanny Yeung
as General Manager of its Hong Kong operations.
Yeung previously
served 20 years with Abacus, one of Asia Pacific’s leading travel
solutions providers, that was recently acquired by Sabre. She then
moved to Travel Innovation Partners where she became Director
responsible for product analysis and implementation support for
the company’s Asia-based customers.
“We are thrilled to welcome Fanny Yeung back
into the Sabre business, especially at such a critical juncture of
our growth in Asia Pacific. Fanny is relentless in her pursuit of
excellence and in pushing her teams to drive the best experience
for customers and partners,” said Roshan Mendis, Senior Vice President, Sabre Travel Network Asia Pacific. “With her deep
market knowledge, Fanny is the ideal leader to help us unlock
further growth potential for Hong Kong.”
Yeung replaces
Agatha Lee who has been heading the local Abacus business for the
past year, on placement from Cathay Pacific. Lee has now returned
to the carrier.
