Hahn Air has launched ‘Every Ticket Makes a
Difference’ campaign.
The German airline will donate (EUR) 10 cents
for every Hahn Air ticket sold to the Hahn Air Foundation.
Founded in 2012, the Hahn Air Foundation
supports organisations that focus on helping women and children
find a way out of poverty and to live a free, healthy and
independent life. The projects promote education, health
facilities, child care services and social institutions amongst
others.
Currently, the foundation supports 16 projects,
mainly in developing and emerging countries, with a total
investment of over 320,000 Euro annually.
With a minimum support
period of 3 years, the Hahn Air Foundation aims to deliver
sustainable support.
Some of the projects include the Epworth
Children’s Village in South Africa, Kanta Bopha in Cambodia and
Amigos de San Cristobal in Mexico.
100% of all donations are channeled towards the projects while
all administrative costs are absorbed by Hahn Air.
“With the help of our business partners,
we have been placed in a unique position to make a difference to
people’s lives in some of the markets we operate in. We view this
position as a privilege and a responsibility, therefore, through
our ‘Every Ticket Makes a Difference’ campaign we hope to create a
positive impact towards a better future, by supporting and
furthering the education and wellbeing of underprivileged women
and children,” said Nikolaus Gormsen, Hahn Air's General Manager.
