Nuo Hotel Beijing Becomes Official Hotel of British Polo Day China 2015

Nuo Hotel Beijing has become the Official Hotel Sponsor of the 5th British Polo Day China 2015, scheduled to take place in Beijing's prestigious Tang Polo Club on 13 September 2015.

As part of the deal, the hotel's logo will be displayed prominently on the China Polo Team players' shirts and the hotel will also be presenting the award for Best Playing Pony after the day's matches.

The competition will feature top players such as George Meyrick, Chevy Beh, Miguel Diaz and China's very own Shilai Liu, Owner of Tang Polo Club and a highly accomplished polo player himself.

"All of us at Nuo Hotel Beijing are absolutely thrilled and very honoured to play an active partnership role as the Official Hotel Sponsor of British Polo Day China during their fifth anniversary, " said Adrian Rudin, General Manager of Nuo Hotel Beijing. "Part of Nuo Hotel Beijing's brand values is its commitment to serve as a custodian of Chinese culture, as illustrated in our hotel's design and guest experiences inspired by cultural elements of the Ming Dynasty. We found it particularly striking that polo, as an ancient sport, shares a long history with imperial China, as it originated from the plains of central Asia on the famed Silk Road to China and later became popular among the imperial nobility during the Tang Dynasty. Our supporting role for the 2015 British Polo Day China, the very modern incarnation of this sport, is our way to continuing to operate under Nuo's guiding philosophy of 'using the past to serve the present'."

Nuo Hotel Beijing's sponsorship and support is crucial for the British Polo Day's ongoing philanthropic efforts, which has been entirely committed to bringing to bear the full weight of its partners, network and creative talent to this end. In 2015, the British Polo Day's cumulative running total of amounts raised for good causes broke through the US$1.5m threshold and keeps on rising.
