Luks Industrial Company Ltd., a Hong Kong-based
property company, has appointed pentahotels to manage a 298-room
pentahotel in Hong Kong.
The pentahotel Tuen Mun, scheduled to open in
autumn 2016, will be the fourth pentahotel in the region, joining
Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.
The former industrial high-rise building will be
completely renovated in keeping with the brand’s design-led style.
At the heart of the hotel will be
pentalounge, which replaces the traditional lobby
and style-free reception found in most hotels, with a hip bar. The
24/7 pentalounge will transform from a laidback lounge during the
day to a stylish bar at night. The lounge will also feature a pool table and
WLAN.
“Since we opened
pentahotel Kowloon in 2013, we’ve seen how the penta concept
really resonates with both Hong Kong visitors and residents,”
said Sonia Cheng, CEO of Rosewood Hotel Group, pentahotels’
parent company. “Guests love the distinctive design as well as our
creative approach to every aspect of the hotel experience, from
the cool lobby gathering place to streamlined, practical
conveniences. We’re confident that pentahotel Tuen Mun will
further extend the penta brand’s success in Hong Kong when it
opens next year.”
