Diethelm Travel Group Sponsors Elephant Parade in Bangkok, Thailand

Diethelm Travel Group has become a sponsor of this year's inaugural Elephant Parade in Bangkok, Thailand.

Diethelm's sponsored elephant - An Elephant Dream - was hand painted by talented artists, and is one of eighty eight life-size baby elephant statues which will be displayed in Bangkok from 1 December 2015.

The parade has been created as a fun way to bring attention to the plight of the Asian elephant, and encourage sustainable elephant tourism programmes.

Founded by Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, the Elephant Parade auctions off the designed statues with proceeds going to support The Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation and a number of other charities designed to help both wild and domesticated elephants throughout Thailand.
