Korean Air to Launch Direct Flights to Milan and Rome

Korean Air has confirmed that commencing 25 February 2015 it will change the current service on its Seoul Incheon - Milan - Rome - Incheon route, to provide direct flights to both Milan and Rome, offering three flights a week to each destination, with Milan increasing to four times a week in March.

The Rome service will see Korean Air operating three times a week utilizing B777-300ER aircraft with capacity for 291 passengers. Departing from Seoul Incheon every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 16:10, the flights KE931 will arrive in Rome at 20:40 on the same day. The return flight KE932 will depart Rome on the same days at 22:20, arriving in Seoul Incheon at 17:20 the next day.

As from 29 March, Korean Air will increase capacity on the Rome route by 25% to 363 passengers by deploying B747-400 aircraft. On that date Korean Air will also change the timetable; with flights revised to depart Seoul Incheon every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 14:00 arriving in Rome at 19:45 on the same day with the return flight departing Rome on the same days at 21:45 arriving back in Seoul Incheon at 15:45 the next day.

Korean Air’s new direct Milan service will initially operate three times a week utilizing A330-200 aircraft seating 218 passengers. Departing from Seoul Incheon every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 13:45, the flight KE927 will arrive Milan at 18:25 on the same day. The return flight KE928 will depart Milan on the same days at 20:30 arriving in Seoul Incheon at 15:50 the next day.

In addition from 29 March, Korean Air will increase the service to Milan to four times a week, adding a Monday service, and increasing capacity by deploying B777-200ER which accommodates 248 passengers. Flight times will also change, departing slightly later from Seoul at 15:05 and arriving Milan at 20:05 on the same day. The return flight will depart Milan at 22:00 and will return to Seoul Incheon at 16:00 the next day.
