Wyndham Garden Hotel Opens in Brooklyn

Wyndham Hotel Group has expanded its Wyndham Garden brand flag in New York City to four properties with the opening of a newly constructed, 70-room hotel in Brooklyn, the brand’s first location in the borough.

Situated in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood, the hotel is within 20 miles of the area’s three international airports, just two subway stops from Downtown Manhattan and only minutes away from top Brooklyn destinations including Coney Island, the Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal.

Wyndham Garden Brooklyn Sunset Park becomes the seventh Wyndham Garden hotel to open globally in 2015, five of which have opened in the U.S. It joins two sister hotels in Manhattan and one in Long Island City, Queens; another location is scheduled to open in 2016 in the Rego Park area of Queens.

Each guest floor at Wyndham Garden Brooklyn Sunset Park has been designed to reflect one of four seasons – winter, spring, summer and autumn – with complementing color schemes.

Guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Brooklyn or the Manhattan skyline, wall murals inspired by the seasonal themes, custom-made furnishings, an ergonomic work area and free wireless internet access.

Bathrooms have marble floors and counters, glass-enclosed showers and the Wyndham brand’s signature Blue Harmony bath amenities.

The on-site Constantine Restaurant & Bar serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and guests can enjoy cocktails and light fare at the hotel’s lounge. Additional hotel offerings include a business center, airport shuttle services and an on-site car rental desk.
