Aviareps has extended its market presence in Greater China with the opening of its fifth office in the region.

The newly opened office in the southern mainland China city of Chengdu will complement and extend the activities and reach of the existing Aviareps Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Taipei offices.

Chengdu is the provincial capital of Sichuan province in Southwest China and a major hub for Western China. The city’s administration is responsible for more than 14 million inhabitants making it one of the largest cities in China. Chengdu is also one of the most important economic, financial, commercial, cultural, transportation, and communication centres in Western China with more than 260 Fortune 500 companies establishing a subsidiary office within the city.

Michael Gaebler, Chairman & CEO Aviareps Group, said, “The opening of our fifth office in Greater China is testimony to the increasing interest and desire of our international partners to demand an expanded and ever-deepening market presence within the world’s second largest economy. The exemplary performance and dedication of our Chinese offices to offer quality and bespoke marketing and public relations representation over the last ten years has been exceptional, and we are excited to introduce this results-driven tailored approach to Chengdu.”

Heading the Aviareps Chengdu office as Travel Trade Marketing Manager is Vincent Tang, who has spent the last ten years in Chengdu specialised in outbound tourism promotion at CYTA (one of China’s “Big 4” outbound travel agencies).

Joining Vincent is Phoebe Wang as Public Relations and Marketing Manager, who comes to Aviareps with extensive experience from a renowned global PR agency.
