Hong Kong Airlines has appointed Mr Chan Kwok
Wing as Director, Corporate Safety, Quality Assurance & Security
Department, responsible for the overall strategy, development and
management of that department.
The airline has also appointed Mr Christopher
Birt as General Manager, Inflight Services in the Service Delivery
Department, responsible for managing service and performance
standards for the cabin crew.
Mr Chan Kwok Wing has 27 years of
working experience in the aviation industry,
specializing in safety and quality assurance. Prior to joining
Hong Kong Airlines, he was Head of Corporate safety and Quality at
Dragonair. Mr Chan has also served in various management positions
at internationally renowned industry players including BAE Systems
Plc. and Airbus.
Mr Christopher Birt possesses almost 20 years of experience in aviation and has a
broad expertise in front-line operations. Before taking up his
current position, Mr Birt was the Head of Cabin Crew at Thomson
Airways, leading the Cabin Services Department with responsibility
of cabin crew development and management. He also held key role at
Virgin Atlantic Airways prior to that.
