Garuda Indonesia will launch a thrice-weekly, one-way, non-stop flight from Singapore to Amsterdam starting 23 July 2015.

The Amsterdam-bound service will run on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays and will be operated by Garuda’s 3-class 314-seat Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Garuda Indonesia plans to double the flight frequencies on the route to six times weekly, starting in October 2015.

“The aviation industry is changing rapidly and we want to continue to be at the forefront in giving passengers the best service and the most attractive destinations. Europe will play an integral role in our growth strategy over the next two years, which includes expanding our network as well as developing new concepts for both corporate and leisure travellers,” said Sentot Mujiono, Vice President, Region Southeast Asia, Garuda Indonesia.

The new service will depart from Changi Airport at 01:30 and arrive at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport at 08:30. The return flights to Singapore will fly via Jakarta.

Garuda’s B777-300ER aircraft is equipped with WiFi and Live TV services for passengers in all classes. First Class passengers will also be able to enjoy the airline's “chef on board” service.

To celebrate this launch, Garuda Indonesia will be running a promotion on all-in economy fares from Singapore to Amsterdam from S$270 for one way trips and S$530 for return flights. Business class tickets will also be on sale from S$1840 one-way and S$3280 for return. Valid for travel from 23 July to 31 July, fares will be on sale until 30 July.
