Thai Airways Int. Organises Buddhist Meditation Tour

Thai Airways International’s Royal Orchid Holidays is organising a Buddhist Meditation Tour.

The special trip to Colombo, Sri Lanka, will be for five-days and three-nights (21-25 October 2015), and offers customers an opportunity to participate in Buddhist merit making and to participate in prayer and meditation.

They will also hear sermons by Phra Maha Vudhijaya Vajiramedhi (V. Vajiramedhi) as well as other Buddhist monks.

The Buddhist Meditation Tour is open to between 80 and 100 participants and will be conducted in Thai language only for the duration of the trip. No English language translation will be available.

On the return trip Thai Airways will transport the sapling of the Holy Bodhi Tree, which comes from the original tree under which the Lord Buddha achieved enlightenment, from Sri Lanka to Vimuttayalaya Institute in Chiang Rai, Thailand.

Prices start from 51,600 Baht per person and customers must make a security deposit of 25,000 Baht to reserve their place. Terms and conditions apply.
