Anantara Vacation Club Phuket Mai Khao Enhances Family Program

Anantara Vacation Club has enhanced its family program at the Phuket Mai Khao destination in Thailand.

The collection of offerings now runs the gamut from cooking classes and kids’ Thai boxing classes to rock climbing and a dive-in movie experience, all conceived and organized by the Jakka Kids Club, which seeks to entertain little ones and young at heart with activities and adventures in a safe and healthy environment.

Highlights of some of Anantara Vacation Club Phuket Mai Khao’s family-centric activities are as follows:

Pizza Cooking Class: Kid culinarians will have the opportunity to express themselves in the kitchen and cultivate a healthy interest in food. One of the property’s renowned chefs will teach children how to make their own delectable pizza. The price is THB 350++ per child, including a Little Chef Certificate with photograph. Hours run 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Kids Thai Boxing: A charismatic boxing coach will turn fitness training into a playful activity to keep youngsters motivated and full of energy. The trainer will work with their students to promote healthy lifestyles with an active and engaging workout that develops coordination, strength, flexibility and endurance, as well as boosting self-confidence. The classes run every day from 4 – 5 p.m.

Rock Climbing Wall: Expert climbing staff will challenge kids to test their strength and agility by traversing the five-metre climbing wall. It’s safe, secure, and sure to give participants a confidence boost once they conquer it to the top. The climbing wall is available every day from 4 – 5 p.m.

Dive-In Movie: Movie-loving families will be able to enjoy a classic dive-in style experience with a free, twice weekly cinematic show on an expansive screen by the pool. The social occasion includes food and refreshments. The dive-in movie experience plays every Tuesday and Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The property provides other experiences as part of the Jakka Club including kids’ tennis lessons, prince and princess manicures and pedicures, parent/daughter and parent/son spa packages, Muay Thai, scenic bike tours, Zumba, table tennis, yoga, flower making, origami, and many, many more.
