Shangri-La and NeoGlory Holdings Group have
signed an agreement in relation to the management of Shangri-La
Hotel, Yiwu.
Scheduled to open at the end of 2016, the hotel will
form part of the upscale and newly built Yiwu World Trade Centre
that comprises 480,000 square metres of luxury living and
expansive commercial and retail space in the heart of the city’s
central business district.
Flanked by the scenic Yiwu River and Futian
Park, Shangri-La Hotel, Yiwu will present a combined inventory of
approximately 516 guestrooms and serviced apartments with
panoramic views of the skyline.
The property will offer premier dining, leisure and
conference facilities.
Just one and a half hours by high speed
train from Shanghai, Yiwu in Zhejiang Province is known as a
vibrant commodities trade centre and for its tourist sites.
“We are delighted to sign this partnership with NeoGlory
Holdings Group Company Limited and to be opening a new hotel,”
said Shangri-La President and CEO, Greg Dogan. “This project
provides the group an opportunity to further extend our brand
portfolio in China and to bring new standards of luxury and
hospitality to Yiwu.”
