Debanjan Kundu Joins The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore as DOSM

The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore has appointed Mr. Debanjan Kundu as Director of Sales and Marketing.

In his capacity as the Director of Sales and Marketing, Debanjan will head the sales and marketing department which encompasses sales, catering, marketing, public relations and revenue management.

“Debanjan brings a tremendous amount of passion and experience to The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore,” said Raghu Menon, General Manager of the hotel. “We are eager to leverage his talents and we are confident that he will be instrumental in leading the chapter of growth for our spectacular hotel."

With over 12 years of experience Debanjan joins The Ritz-Carlton from his role as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Sheraton Bangalore. Prior to joining Sheraton Bangalore, he was the Director of Sales at Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, Debanjan has also worked in Sales at The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata. He started his career with food and beverage operations as a Corporate Trainee at Hyatt Regency, Kolkata.

Debanjan is a Gold Medalist from IHM Kolkata and has won many accolades for his leadership including FHRAI Young Hotel Sales and Marketing Manager.

He has a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wales, Lampeter.
