Thai Airways International has adjusted its
flight schedule and cancelled some flights to Northern Thailand
because of the potential danger from floating lanterns release
into the air during the Loy Krathong Festival, 24-27 November
2015.
The airline has cancelled the following round trip
flights from Bangkok-Chiang Mai during 24-27 November 2015:
- TG120 from Bangkok-Chiang Mai on 24-25
November 2015;

Loy
Krathong is celebrated all over Thailand.

- TG121 from Chiang Mai-Bangkok on 24-25
November 2015;
- TG122 from Bangkok-Chiang Mai on 24-26
November 2015; and
TG123 from Chiang Mai-Bangkok on 25-27 November 2015.
Thai Airways has also changed the departure time
of select flights between 24-26 November 2015, as follows:
TG116 on 24-25 November 2015, originally
scheduled to depart from Bangkok at 17:20 and arrive in Chiang Mai at
18:30 hours, has been changed to depart from Bangkok at 15.50 hours and
arrive in Chiang Mai at 17:00.
TG117 on 24-25
November 2015, originally scheduled to depart from Chiang Mai at 19:20
and arrive in Bangkok at 20:30, has been changed to depart from
Chiang Mai at 17:50 and arrive in Bangkok at 19:00.
TG116 on 26 November 2015, was to depart from Bangkok
at 17:20 and arrive in Chiang Mai at 18:30, will now depart from Bangkok at 15:00 and arrive in Chiang
Mai at 16:10.
TG120 on 26 November 2015,
was supposed to depart from Bangkok at 18:40 and arrive in
Chiang Mai at 20:00, will now depart from Bangkok at
15:50 and arrive in Chiang Mai at 17:00.
TG121 on 26 November 2015, was originally
scheduled to depart from Chiang Mai at
20:50 arriving in Bangkok at 22:10, has been changed to depart from Chiang Mai at 17:50 and arrive in Bangkok at
19:00.
