Hospitality Financial and Technology
Professionals (HFTP) has named Toronto as the host city for the
2017 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC).
HITEC 2017 will be held in Toronto 26 – 29 June
2017.
“As a global association,
HFTP is thrilled to bring HITEC to our neighbors to the north in
Canada,” said HFTP CEO, Frank Wolfe, CAE. “Toronto is a
beautiful city and I am excited to see how HITEC will flourish in
its first international locale.”
Toronto, with a
population of five and a half million, is Canada’s largest city
with more than 60% of the population of the United States
within a 90-minute flight.
A true melting pot, residents of
Toronto speak English, French, Chinese, Italian, Tamil, Portuguese and Spanish.
HITEC will be held at the Metro Toronto
Convention Centre which has been host to the G20 Summit,
international trade events and world leader meeting.
