China, Italy, Japan and Thailand to Compete in FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix

The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix – HK 2014 presented by Watsons, will be held from 8 to 10 August, 2014 in the Hong Kong Coliseum.

Four teams: China, Italy, Japan and Thailand, will compete for the Hong Kong leg winner title.

Tickets for the world ranking tournament are priced from $70 to $650 and will be on sale from 16th June at all URBTIX outlets.

Ms Marina Tsui, Vice President of Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China said, “The 4 teams of the Hong Kong stage are very well-matched, so a tough competition is expected. School ticket packages have received overwhelming respond, being sold out in 2 weeks. Volleyball fans should not miss this chance if they want to secure tickets to support their favourite team.”

Ms Sun Yue, the former captain of the China National Team and an Olympic Silver Medalist, has been appointed as the Event Ambassador.
