Carlson Rezidor Signs Radisson Blu Hotel in Udaipur

Carlson Rezidor has partnered with Rockwood Hotels & Resorts on the signing of Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa, currently known as the Sheraton Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa.

Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa will be the first Radisson Blu hotel in Udaipur and is expected to be rebranded in May 2014.

Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa is a 240-room hotel located on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake in Ambamata, close to the city center and less than an hour’s drive from the airport.

Nearby tourist attractions include the City Palace, Udaipur Lake Palace and the shopping districts of Hathi Pol, Bada Bazaar, Chetak Circle and Palace Road.

The hotel’s recreational facilities include an outdoor swimming pool which overlooks the Sajjangarh Fort and Aravali Hill, a lawn tennis court, a spa and a fitness centre.

The hotel also has 544sqm of meeting space, including a pillar-less ballroom that can accommodate up to 450 people.

Dining options include an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a lobby bar and lounge and a poolside bar.
