Aspiring tennis stars are being invited to give it their best shot in the Forum at the Munich Airport Center (MAC).

In the lead-up to the 2014 BMW Open by FWU AG, sports lovers are welcome to watch or take part in the first-ever tennis event in the MAC.

Munich Airport has joined forces with the BMW Open to offer tennis for all comers – even before the renowned ATP tournament starts, from Monday, April 14th to Saturday, April 26th, two courts in the MAC Forum will be open to passengers, visitors and airport staff who want to show what they can do with a racquet.

Lessons will be available for young and old alike who want to give tennis a try, and special children's camps will be offered in cooperation with the airport's Kinderland.

For those who have always wondered how their serve measures up against Djokovic & Co., a radar gun will give instant feedback on their hardest shot. With the exception of the children's camps, no reservations are required for the lessons, which will operate on a first come, first "served" basis.

In addition, tournament visitors can witness rallies between big tennis stars from a 200-seat center-court grandstand. The schedule will include exhibition matches and training sessions with such stars as the one-time Davis Cup team captain Niki Pilic and the former pro and BMW Open tournament director Patrik Kühnen.

For guests who want to test their tennis skills, experienced trainers from MTTC Iphitos Munich will be on hand for the entire tournament. Balls and racquets can be borrowed free of charge. Showers and change rooms are also available. Participants and spectators can park free of charge for up to five hours in the P20 carpark.
