Elbit Systems of America Appoints VP Services & Support Solutions

Elbit Systems of America has appointed Chris Hickey as Vice President Services & Support Solutions.

With over 25 years of experience in aerospace and technology industries including a diverse background in defense, civil, and international markets, Hickey will oversee Elbit’s aircraft modernization and sustainment facility in San Antonio, Texas, its product support sites in Fort Worth, Texas and in Woensdrecht, Netherlands and logistics support and obsolesce management center in Talladega, Alabama.

Hickey is also responsible for customer service and product support related to the Merlin and Metro commuter aircraft, for which Elbit holds the Type Certificates.

“Chris brings a rich level of defense, commercial, and homeland security market knowledge to Elbit Systems of America,” said Raanan Horowitz, Elbit Systems of America President and Chief Executive Officer. “His experience in management, business development, international markets, and operations has prepared him well for the opportunities at Elbit Systems. Hickey holds an MBA from Arizona State University and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
