Jeff Ross has been appointed as general manager
of the Swisstel Resort Phuket. Jeff has been with Swisstel
Hotels & Resorts since 2010, and most recently held the role of
hotel manager at Swisstel The Stamford, Singapore.
Extensive experience in food and beverage and
operations has allowed Jeff to develop a depth of knowledge and
expertise in the hospitality industry.
Prior to joining Swisstel
Hotels & Resorts, Jeff held senior management positions for
Starwood Hotels and Resorts at the companys properties in Asia,
the Middle East and Europe.
During his tenure at Swisstel The
Stamford, he rose from director of operations to hotel manager
after one year. Under his care was a 1,261-room property that
ranks as one of the tallest hotels in Southeast Asia with eight
restaurants and bars and 6,500 m of convention space under its
roof.
Jeff has achieved a Certificate in Hotel
Administration from the Centre International de Glion Swiss
Hotel Management School and CATP Hotelier & Restaurateur by Lyce
Technique Hotelier Diekirch Luxembourg Hotel School.
Swisstel Resort Phuket
Swisstel Resort Phuket is the Swiss hospitality groups first
property in Phuket and third property in Thailand.
Just a
30-minute drive southwest of Phuket International Airport, the
retreat is located right by Kamala Beach and is an ideal base from
which to explore Phuket.
The resort offers 180 one to
three-bedroom suites, each with a separate bedroom, living room
and private balcony; three restaurants and bars, with a wide range
of local and international dishes and drinks; a lagoon swimming pool, a spa & fitness centre; and Kids World: an amusement zone
