Thai AirAsia Launches Chiang Mai - Surat Thani Flights

Thai AirAsia has launched daily flights between Chiang Mai and Surat Thani.

The new flights also offer passengers the option of an island transfer between Surat Thani and the popular island of Koh Samui.

"The inaugural Chiang Mai-Surat Thani flight served a load factor of over 90%. At present, AirAsia offers 12 flights from Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Chiang Mai daily and 5 from Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Surat Thani daily.

AirAsia also offers local connections between regions including 1 daily direct flight from Bangkok to Udon Thani, 3 from Chiang Mai to Phuket, 1 from Chiang Mai to Hat Yai, 2 from Chiang Mai to Krabi and now 1 daily direct flight from Chiang Mai to Surat Thani.
