The Best Western River Palace Hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, has opened a spa.

The new wellness facility features hot and cold jacuzzis, a steam bath, fitness center and one of the only Turkish hammams in Cambodia.

Dating back thousands of years, the Turkish hammam is an integral part of Middle Eastern and North African culture, offering a serene cleansing experience.

The traditionally-styled hammam is set in a room adorned with elegant pearl and ivory colored tiles. A large archway leads to a central steam bath, topped with a domed ceiling. This provides the perfect setting for a series of detoxifying and purifying treatments that ease aches and pains and revive the senses.

Guests have a variety of options to revitalize their bodies, including traditional Asian massages, full-body treatments, scrubs, facials, waxing and water therapies.

“Best Western always aims to provide our guests with a comfortable and relaxing environment in which to unwind after a hard day’s business or sightseeing,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s Vice President of International Operations for Asia & Middle East. “Our stunning new spa at the Best Western River Palace Hotel in Phnom Penh takes this mantra to a whole new level, offering serene treatments away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets. And with the first ever Turkish hammam in Cambodia, I am delighted to be able to offer our guests such a unique and memorable experience.”

Best Western River Palace Hotel is located on the banks of the Tonle Sap River, in the heart of the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh.
